Our History

The Wellington Green Recreation Association (WGRA) was formed around 1962 to manage a piece of land given by the late Mack and Clovie Howell. WGRA is a private, non-profit 501(c)7 corporation and has been solely funded by pool memberships and community contributions. The board of trustees all reside in the Kingsgate and Wellington Green neighborhoods.
